34028 on a charge to Bristol! Eddystone heads West on the Bath & Bristol Christmas Express. 29/11/25
We begin at Bradford on Avon to see 34028 pass through on the outward leg with plenty of steam to spare after unfortunately being held back for a stopper train. Hot on the heels of Eddystone was another railtour in the form of Statesman Rail's Bath Christmas Market excursion hauled by 47593 Galloway Princess and 47805 leading the newly refurbished Statesman set.
A brief lookaround the City of Bath was had before venturing back out for the return legs. At Bristol we see 34028 getting prepared for departure on platform 15 we catch up with Eddystone once more at Bath Spa and Chippenham where the loco is seen in full flow putting an end to a busy day of action in Bath and Bristol.
