Colas Rail Class 37 Hauled Yorkshire RHTT 2025

Description
Welcome to CDM Transport

The Rail Head Treatment Train, or RHTT for short, sprays water / sandite onto the tracks that tries to prevent leaves being on the line.

This train runs every day up and down the country during autumn, with different areas running with different locos and configurations. Whilst most places have more regular freight service locos, York are treated to Colas operated class 37s on the Yorkshire Coast diagram, that ran every day from the first of October until early December.

This year, five locos were featured on York's class 37 diagram compared to last year's three. This was due to class 37s also being used on the Scotland Central Belt diagram due to a loco shortage during this busy time. This meant York Thrall was frequently robbed of locos during the season meaning we got more variety, and, one of our locos had to leave for a long anticipated exam partway through the season.

The locos featured this year were:
- 37099 'Merl Evans'
- 37175
- 37219 'Jonty Jarvis'
- 37254 'Cardiff Canton'
- 37419 'Agamemnon'

Any more info on locomotives and when they appeared / disappeared is available in the 'Posts' section on my channel.

Without further adieu, I present York Leaf Busters 2025, or Colas Rail Class 37 Hauled Yorkshire RHTT, as it is officially titled. This year I managed more shots than 2024, which made for a better video. However, the video is a bit shorter this year due to myself cutting down on animation timings and video lengths to make the video a better pace as I recognize my videos can be a bit slow going sometimes. Don't worry, its still a great quality watch.

Loco numbers and diagram info is available on the screen and updated for each capture, however I've put together a timestamped section here for anyone wishing to find something quickly.
