West Coast Railways' 'The Scarborough Spa Express' 2025

Welcome back to another video.

Today, its the Scarborough Spa Express. I've collected my footage of the runs that it has done this year and made a big video as usual.

It was booked to run 5 times this year, but due to loco issues and other issues it only ran three times - an all time low.

First up, see Tornado on one of its last railtours for WCR flying past Holgate headed back to Carnforth.

Next, 37706 drops in as a substitute for a failed 45212, seen firstly getting into its stride at Bootham headed for Scarborough.

Then, 37706 is seen arriving into York with some power to move the train across York's platforms.

After that, 37706 storms away from York with tones, 47826 pushing hard on the rear for a rapid getaway.

Next, Tangmere is seen rolling past Dringhouses. I managed to chase this to the station, but the record shot was shaky so I didn't use it on this big video.

Then, 34067 chugs into York off the Scarborough branch with a nice whistle.

After that, Tangmere storms away from platform 3 at York, headed for Holgate to switch to diesel.

Next, 57314 is seen passing Church Fenton with tones now Tangmere was (finally) detached.

Finally, 57010 is seen leading a failed 47245 and burst Tangmere on 5Z29 back to Carnforth.
