Trains around Worcester & Reading | 37884 leads Another Class 769 To Long Marston + More!
We begin at Worcestershire Parkway, where 68002 is seen working Tesco intermodal 4V44 to Wentloog. Class 68s were once a rarity on this working, but they are becoming increasingly common — excellent to see one on the train nonetheless.
We then move across Worcester to Shrub Hill, where the impressive semaphore gantry still stands tall. Here we catch 37884 hauling another Class 769 through Worcestershire, heading for storage at the Long Marston facility.
Later in the day, we catch up again with 37884, this time passing through Reading on its way to Wembley Yard. Following a crew change, the locomotive is seen departing Reading station.
Also included is footage from yesterday’s working, featuring 37423 taking two Class 769s into Long Marston.
