The Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (Delhi–Meerut RRTS) is a partially operational 82.15 km (51.05 mi)-long rapid rail that will connect the National Capital Region (NCR) cities of Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut.

Equipped with ETCS Level 2 with ATO supported by Nokia's 4.9G LTE, the RRTS network is the most modern Railway System in India with trains running at an operational speed of 160 kmph.

Designed to allow a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph), the distance between Delhi and Meerut will be traversed in less than 60 minutes.

Upon inauguration, the RRTS became the first regional transit system of India, and has also been designated the fastest rapid transit train in the nation with an operational speed of 160 km/h (99 mph).

The Namo Bharat is an Indian electric multiple unit (EMU) train built for RapidX (Regional Rapid Transit services). The train was designed by the French rolling stock manufacturer Alstom at its engineering centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, and was manufactured in Savli, Gujarat. The train has an aerodynamic design which reduces the drag when it travels. The train has a design speed of 180 km/h (110 mph) and is operated at a speed of 160 km/h (99 mph).

Safety system : ETCS Level 2 with ATO subsystem supported by Nokia 4.9G/LTE private wireless network.
