A lively hour at Lichfield Trent Valley with privately owned 86259 Les Ross or Peter Pan/Peter Can off to Nemesis Rail for maintenance. The Class 86 able to run under its own power down the WCML from Carnforth to Lichfield before it needs assistance for the last section of non-electrified line to Burton. 57009 is despatched to drag the AC electric over the non-electrified final section.

Also seen is 56302 rattling along at a great pace on a diverted trip back to Shrewsbury from Rugby via Crewe. The loco not able to run via the Sutton Park line as is also the case for 4S57 which is seen passing 2 hours down.

Also seen at speed is GBRf loco 66780 dragging an uncovered rake of Ford Cars and Vans from Dagenham up to Merseyside making for a lovely looking working.
