A video of Hertfordshire Railtours "The Sugar Loafer" that ran on 19th November 1994. The loco was 33109 "Captain Bill Smith R.N.R." with a short rake of Inter City Charter Unit Mk.1 & Mk.2 coaches. The route was circular: From London Paddington along the GW main line to Cardiff then Port Talbot and on to the Central Wales line to Llandrindod Wells to partake of refreshment for an hour or so then on to Craven Arms, Telford, Wolverhampton and Birmingham New St then back to Paddington via Tyseley to Leamington Spa, regaining the GW main line at Didcot. Overall a good day out with a single Crompton for a change.
