With "69016" being so near "61016" and the importance of safety and security always in our minds GBRF and BTP join "forces" to promote a very important message. 69016 newly out the paint shop at Arlington Fleet Services Eastleigh who have done a fabulous job. The loco will be formally unveiled with its name on Friday at Waterloo and it will be seen throughout the UK delivering this message. Safety on the railway is vitality important, GBRf are pleased to promote and support the British Transport Police in their endeavours to keep everyone safe. It's a long time since the previous "police" 47 829 and 37 093 promoted policing the railway. 69016 looks even better. My thanks to Carl Watson, Adam Barber and their team at Eastleigh.
