Few Captures of freight on the local Borderlands Line between Wrexham General and Bidston and North Wales Coast Line between Chester and Holyhead during the month of February 2026

Steel coils are brought up from Margam in South Wales to the British Steel plant in Shotton in North Wales for further process. Working is 6M76 Margam Tc to Dee Marsh Sidings & Return 6V75 Dee Marsh Sidings to Margam Tc Normally runs every day apart from Sundays. Regular traction now regeared DB Cargo 66’6s

37425 & 37424 operated this months Derby RTC - 1Q41, this operates between every 4-5 week period

Stone / Granite freight trains has really picked up on the North Wales Coast to and from Penmaenmawr quarry. GBRf, DCR, Colas have all visited the quarry this month.
