ROYAL 67’s To London Victoria | 43013 & 43062 on TEST TRAIN duty | GBRF 57303 Leads SWR 701 Drag!

A great day of railway action starting the morning at Worcestershire Parkway before heading to Reading for a varied mix of charter, test train and stock movements.

We begin the day catching 37425 & recently outshopped 37421 heading north back to Derby after running overnight test trains around South Wales including Barry and Cardiff Bay.

After that we move on to Reading station, where plenty of interesting workings pass through during the afternoon.

Highlights include the stunning Belmond British Pullman “Historic Oxford & Blenheim Palace” charter, hauled by DB Cargo Class 67006 & 67007, running from London Victoria to Oxford Parkway and return.

Also seen is Network Rail’s HST set 43013 & 43062 working 1Q23 1704 Salisbury – Reading Triangle Sidings, providing a rare HST movement through the station.

Another interesting move is 57303 hauling 701045 on 5Q70 Long Marston GBRf – Wimbledon Park Depot, moving the brand new Class 701 unit across the network.

Alongside these we also capture a variety of freight and passenger services passing through one of the busiest stations on the Great Western Main Line.
