Various Short Visited Locations from 1997
Volume 01 (April - May 1997)
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of locations that I visited where not a lot of video footage was attained. This volume contains 3 locations, Sonning Cutting near Reading and also near Reading to the south Southcote Junction where the B+H line diverges to the West and the Basingstoke branch to the South. Finally an old favourite, Barnetby up in Humberside. The decline in traffic by now was fairly noticeable. Several Rail tours are seen with a Class 55 "Deltic" and a pair of pristine looking 33's.
For further rail tour information please visit the six bells junction railtour archive website at the following address. https://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk . I hope this video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
