When it doesn’t quite go to plan...
A points failure in the Birmingham area delayed 1S35 which meant I arrived into Carlisle after Blue Peter which wasn't the plan - Missed the A2 detach off the coaching stock also.
I'm not sure why however D9000 was not fit to run today and was replaced by 37409. 57311 was tasked with heading 1Z60 and see the moves for both locos positioning around Carlisle to attach to the Mk1 stock.
The departure of 1Z60 is then delayed to put the cherry on the top, with my southbound Pendolino heading off before 57311/37409..
Just one of those days where it all goes wrong.. :)
