Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is yet another test on the broadcast camera set up. Living up to Reading's daily traffic on a Wednesday Afternoon. Filmed from the old cattle pens off the platform HST's and "Turbo's" are seen. A class 47 in the Porterbrook livery on an inter city train and "Deltic" D9000 arrived from Birmingham with a cross country service. Very sadly I missed the departure 1M79, the 16.47 to Liverpool Lime Street, as I foolishly ran out of video, but I do hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
