Exeter St Davids Station on 4th May 1991
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Exeter St Davids taken on 04/05/1991. The class 50s were now in their final period of working the WOE line so I thought it was appropriate to call in here again before the 47/7s took over. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
It features various locomotives, including classes 37, 43, and 50, which were in service at the time. The footage reflects a period of transition in railway operations, with Class 50 locomotives nearing the end of their active service on the WOE line. The video provides a nostalgic look back at this era of British rail history.
Fishplate has identified 12 locomotives in this video. We’ve also matched 4 operators . Create a free account to see where they appear, unlock timestamps and locations, and view the full breakdown.
