FAST TILTING TRAINS at Berkhamsted! Pendolinos Flying Through the WCML

High-speed Pendolinos tilting through the curves at full line speed, heavy freight rumbling along the slow lines, and a constant flow of passenger services — this session at Berkhamsted railway station captures the relentless pace of the West Coast Main Line. Filmed between 08:30 and 13:30 on 10th March 2026, the aim of the day was to capture fast tilting trains passing through the station — and despite some platform access restrictions, plenty of impressive WCML action was still caught on camera.

Filmed at Berkhamsted station on 10th March 2026 between 08:30 and 13:30, this video captures a busy morning of rail traffic on the West Coast Main Line.

The original goal of the session was to capture fast tilting Pendolino trains passing through the station at speed. However, due to Platforms 1 and 2 being out of bounds for filming, positioning became slightly more challenging than usual. Most footage had to be filmed over the fence between Platforms 2 and 3 or leaning over the access tape, but despite the restrictions some excellent high-speed passes were still captured.

Throughout the morning a wide mix of freight, passenger and engineering movements passed through Berkhamsted.
