Castle Class 5043 & 7029 Work 'The Christmas White Rose' Railtours 27/11/24 & 4/12/24
Today we have the Vintage trains steam charters to York over the course of the last two weeks, I'm very happy with the footage I managed to capture.
Firstly, Clun Castle is sighted on 27/11 with a superb performance away from York, being slightly bowled but luckily came at the right time, not blocking the steam loco
Finally, Earl Mount Of Edgecombe is also sighted hauling the second charter on 4/12, it was sadly platform alternated but made something unusual as it was due in on 9 again. It left with another superb departure, powering nicely
On both days 47773 was on the rear
As usual there is a photobomber at the end but only a bit! That's life with steam charters unfortunately.
Sorry for again a lack of content, we shall have the Leaf Busters video premiered soon and maybe some Ultrasonic Test train footage if all goes well
