Fantastic Friday with Surprise Visitors at Carlisle 10 April 2026

A Fantastic day at Carlisle on 10th April. I headed out to record the late running Class 90s on the late running London Gateway to Coatbridge intermodal. I was surprised on arriving at the station to see a GBRf Class 57. Not only that it was attached to excursion stock with another 57 at the rear. I wasn't the only local enthusiast to be curious as to why it was there. The other visitor was Rail Operations Group 37 Cepheus taking a Class 769 EMU to Kilmarnock.

And my error in captioning 88008 - its Ariadne. I really should know by now!
