WELCOME TO 1996
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of the Western Entrance/Exit to Acton Yard taken on 29/02/1996. Usually quite a busy location. but on this occasion the yard seemed fairly quiet apart from some light stock moves and LE's. Meanwhile the Western Mainline appeared normal with 165/166 class Turbo's and HST's plus the Cross Country Class 47 hauled train heading West towards Reading. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.
