After a 6 year absence, the autumn steam gala makes a comeback with plenty of locos - little and large marking the return of the event.
One of the highlights was T3 563's first visit away from Southern Metals as it tackles some of the gradients on the line under load 3. A couple of the smaller industrial and familiar locos were No.813 running as No.11 Backworth NCB and 1219 Caledonian Works from the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway ahead of going for an overhaul.
Accounting for the express loco side of the gala was 5029 Nunney Castle. Starring at the gala after working the English Riviera Express runs during the summer months out of Taunton to Kingswear and return.
