In my collection of Mr Nick Winfield is this series of "End of the Year reviews" which Nick put together at the end of each year starting with 1995. Here we have the 1997 rendition. This feature has been split into 3 parts and covers most of the Southern Counties to the Midlands and Eastern parts of the UK. Also in this video Nick visits his favourite haunt, the North Wales line and is accompanied with quality and clear narration throughout. This part covers the Western and the Midlands and not forgetting Nick's favourite area, North Wales. Some truly stunning and fabulous scenery with class 37 haulage and many other types of BR traction and So without further ado let us get on with the end of 1997 captured from the start to the end. I hope this video is received with appreciation of just how talented Nick was in his video creating skill. It is so sad that he never got to do so much more.
