BR Class 20 Locomotives in the Pre Digital Age Vol BR20 01
BR Class 20 Locomotives in the Pre-Digital Age
Volume BR20-01
This is an introduction to a series that I have decided to create, while I slowly recover my Archive collection in full, after the cyber attack on my computer.
The English Electric Locomotive Class 20 was a real work horse for many years and became known as 'Choppers' due to the noise of their engines. They were mainly operative in the Midlands and North of England, also over regions of Scotland, hauling a variety of trains particularly MGR traffic full of coal for the large hungry power stations all over the country.
This feature covers the period from around 1987 to 1992 and features locations, such as Toton Yard, Bescot, Wigan Springs Branch and some locations in Ayrshire in Scotland. A few passenger turns are also seen and special trains, both in the North and South of the Country. I do hope you enjoy the feature and please comment and like, if you feel the video was of some enjoyment and nostalgia to watch.
I will return to my present series BR in the 2010s as soon as possible, it could be sometime yet as I have to also install a replacement editing suite, as my present one does not work on the new operating system...Thank you all so much for your kind messages and of course for your patience, which is always appreciated.
