Description
The Severn Valley Railway changed its usual late of the year slot for the diesel gala for May. Mine is a small collection of what was on offer from a fantastic line up over three days. First up is 50008 waiting time at Bewdley and then seen clagging away up northwood lane. Then moving onto Kidderminster we see a range of locos in the yard, and 68010 on the Chiltern set. Seen arriving is then 31452 with 20118/059 then leaving. Now onto Hampton Loade as 46045 passes 33035. Then Eardington Bank for 20118/059, recently repainted D9002, 46045 and D1015. Then seen at Highley is D5580. Moving onto Arley 20205 and 142 arrive and 50035 screams off. Then after a short walk along the cycle route we see 73952 and 20118 head towards Bridgnorth across Victoria Bridge as D1015 heads the other way. Then back to Kidderminster as we see various movements including 37716, 50008, D9002, 55022 and 46045. Finally a short hop back to Bewdley to see DRS's finest 68025.
