Featuring Locomotive SR 828 and normal services
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Claverton Bank on the Westbury line just out of Bath. A beautiful and peaceful country location near to the Avon Canal, here I saw SR Locomotive 828 climbing towards the camera amongst the normal sprinter services. Later at Upton Scudamore where the line to Salisbury levels off the SR Loco storms impressively up to the summit, this is quite a short clip but I feel it was definitely worth an upload. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
