That time of the year again... Class 97’s hauled in to work ballast trains on the Heart Of Wales. This time I decided to chase the train as I have had time to scope out locations for trains along this route. Working as 6C41 Crewe - Crewe via Llandelio with 97302 and 904 in charge. The train is seen first slowing for Craven Arms at Wistanstow with a short hop in the car to the entry of the Central Wales the train is seen powering away from the Marches route. Next two locations are Bucknell and Knucklas Viaduct.. some great 37 sounds... two more shots included is 37175 & 421 seen powering away from Shelwick Junction a couple of weeks ago and 56094 also at Wistanstow on 6Z51 Baglan - Chirk logs.
