After chasing a few trains around the South Coast, I ended up at Havant Station, a few miles out of Portsmouth on the London Waterloo/Brighton Line. Filmed from the road crossing footbridge, with the old Junction Signalbox I captured on video more SR EMU stock, and also Class 313s, presumably on the London Victoria Route, but also a "Pathfinder" Rail Tour from with a pair of DRS Class 20 Locomotives in charge. 20312 + 20308 leading and at the rear of the train DRS Locomotive 37409 'Lord Hinton' I notice the driver is on his own. which means that not only do they sign the traction type, but also the route. I do not know what company or depot would have a driver with this knowledge in the South. They are usually accompanied by someone with the appropriate route or traction knowledge ?...Anyhow I hope this video takes you back to the period with fond memories and feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read, and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually..
