My last adventure away from my local area for trains this year.. double headed Class 20s in North Wales. After some careful planning it was possible to capture the train at various locations including Pensarn, Llandudno Junction, Roman Bridge, Pont-y-Pant, Glen Conwy, Llandudno Golf Course, Deganwy and finally Colwyn Bay. 20096 (D8096) + 20107 (D8107) along with help from 37667 are seen throughout the day in the ever changing Welsh weather. The train origniated at Derby heading to Bleanu Ffestinog with a reversal at Llandudno Junction, before running around at Ffestiniog retuning dropping the 37 off at Llandudno Junction so it could help with the running around moves at Llanduno itself. Before heading back to Derby in the dark. Another fantastic day organised by Loco Services Limited.
