Another adventure out in the cold January of 2026 as I make my way up to Loughborough for the annual Winter Steam Gala at the Great Central Railway. Good at action especially from the guest 34072 "257 Squadron" as it seemed to be a fan favourite among the enthusiasts. Meanwhile on the mainline at Loughborough, 37610 and 37219 was out on test back to Derby R.TC and 43274 + 43303 running light loco to Nuneaton. Finally I saw 45118 running on the Peak Broadsman fly through Loughborough for Chesterfield.
