This was meant to be ordinary trip over to Peterborough but it ended up being a very interesting one. With the failure of 801211 just North of Newark Northgate, many services were severely delayed or cancelled. The culprit came through 228 minutes late and this caused a big backlog of trains which were also over 200 minutes late. It was a long day for the passengers but a very interesting day for me.
