Colas 37's numbers 175 and 219 return to Wales from where they were recently preserved working an engineering train on the Central Wales heading for Llanwrytd. Upon speaking to the driver he mentioned that there was a total of 30 tones loaded stone in each wagon, even though the train arrived over an hour late, and left over 90 mins late, it was noted the front 37 was struggling with the load. Considering this it was not a very spirited departure up the heavy gradient towards Knucklas where I was originally waiting for this train. Anyhow, a golden moment to see these locos on this line.
