D1015 “Western Champion” thrashes out of Manchester Victoria - “The Pathfinder Finale” - 20/12/25
D1015 “Western Champion” (also re-named on the other side as “Western Pathfinder”) pulls The Pathfinder Finale from Salisbury to Manchester Victoria with WCR’s 57314 “Conwy Castle” on the back.
This was my first time seeing a Western on the mainline as well as seeing a rail tour from Manchester, although I did catch Western Champion at the Greatest Gathering.
This will (I think) be my last video of the year since there isn’t much scheduled till next year although a “best of” video seems quite likely.
Very well turned out from Pathfinder’s and WCR.
