MEGA RARE 5 LOCO CONVOY + LIGHT DB 66 around Newbury
As the South Western Main Mine (SWML) was closed due to engineering works, a GBRf train had been diverted via the Berks & Hants line which made it ideal to see it just before it got dark.
I wasn’t expecting five locomotives to be in this convoy. In fact I was expecting just one, but we saw five and it was definitely worth seeing it.
