The Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway host one of the line's headline events of the year, in the form of their annual diesel gala. Home residents 08825, 37227 and RTC liveried Class 31 97205, along with Class 411 3CEP 1198, were joined by Hanson & Hall liveried 50008 'Thunderer' and DATS HST powercars 43066 and 43054, with the 08 shunter running Brake Van rides within the station limits at Princes Risborough.

Unfortunately, one powercar, 43054, failed prior to Friday's event, and so was omitted from the day's proceedings.
