This was the best possible schedule for a Coimbatore - Kolkata train and would have been enormously successful, even as a normal SF train. What Southern Railways had requested, was an Antyodaya. However, what turned out was an illogical Humsafar Suvidha, which had Humsafar AC 3 Tier and 4 Sleeper coaches.
The train was given pathetic priority and the train was soon cancelled due to lack of patronage.
