The Railway Children Celebrations - Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - 28/08/21
With 957 taking centre stage on display at Keighley, plenty of action was to be seen at Oakworth station, with recreations of the famous "Red Petticoat" scene, along with the station in full decorum. At Oxenhope, GWR Pannier Tank 5775 sits on display, complete with flags and bunting, as she looked during the film's credits. Meanwhile, USATC S160 5820 'Big Jim' runs services along the line, along with Midland Railway 4F 43924 in her final year of traffic, running with a selection of vintage coaches, with L&Y 957 joining 43924 on the return to Oxenhope.
