BRITISH RAILWAYS VINTAGE TRACTION
BR Class 411 to 431 EMU's in the Pre-Digital Age
(1987 - 1991)
Volume BREMU-01
Carrying on with this replacement series, until my archive collection from between the 2000's to the current time is recovered, this feature focuses on the different classes of 630v - 750v DC Southern Region Multiple Units, which were introduced to BR from around 1951 onwards up until around 1974. This feature only covers the 'Slam Door' 2 car and 4 car Electric Multiple Units plus the Motor Luggage Van single car units that were introduced onto the SR during the 1950's and 1960's. Seen all over the SR Electrified 3rd rail system from Kent to Dorset. Most of the classes were built either at BREL York or Eastleigh Works in Hampshire. All video captured between 1987 to 1991 in beautiful VHS Format. I do hope you enjoy the feature and please comment and like, if you feel the video was of some enjoyment and nostalgia to watch.
