GB Railfreight 57310 ā€˜UK Railtoursā€™ & 66751 'Inspiration Delivered - Hitachi Rail Europe' passed through working the London Victoria - Fairwater Yard, with an unusual mash up of rolling stock, working a training run for the Britannic Explorer which starts next month.

The train paused briefly at Taunton before heading down to Fairwater Yard, where the 66 reversed the consist back under 40 steps to stable overnight.

We also see Colas 37116 operating the Structure Gauging Ultrasonic Test Unit which has been operating from Exeter St Davids this week, passing the parked up 57310, 66751 and Eastern Rail Services rolling stock.

Owing to running early, 37116 made a brief unexpected stop at Taunton, so a mad dash ensued back towards Taunton station in the hope of catching it leaving. Best shot I could get included at the end, but worth including for the soundtrack as the locomotive thrashes out just as we pulled up to Taunton, heading for Reading Triangle Sidings! | 06.06.2025
