Class 66, 66540 entering Chelmsford Station at a Snails Pace..
66540 was slowing down to stop at the red aspect signal just before the crossover just beyond platform 1 to allow the train at 1:32 to crossover back to the 'down' line. The line beyond the station to Ingatestone (the next station) was being operated bi-directional on the up (southbound) line only due to OHLE (Over Head Line Equipment) damage.
The train was stationary at Chelmsford for around 20 minutes to allow a backlog of northbound trains to proceed.
