Trains in the rain on Gamston Bank, Retford, 13th February 2026.

An interesting, if increasingly wet afternoon filming at Grove Road crossing in Retford. The attractions were 2 x HST power cars running as light locos, the DB 66-hauled Dollands Moor to Scunthorpe service which only ran on this one day this week and EPR class 37 37218 running light. Sadly for the last few shots, the rain grew too bad to film outside on a tripod so I had to resort to sitting in the car and filming through the window, hence the shots are not quite so steady.
