Description
Monday 4th May at Carlisle Citadel Station over nearly 12 hours. Despite it being a holiday there was an abundance of Loco hauled trains! We see the Tersco train - in both directions - and other regular trains. Also a convoy of DB Cargo 66s, the new livery Heavy Haul Rail on one of the two ballast trains heading to Heaton Lodge Junction, The Network Rail PLPR / OHLE inspection train, Swietelsky's Class 37 hides during its break heading south from Slateford to Derby. The icing on the cake - the Hartlepool - Willesden train of HS2 tunnel sections diverted via Carlisle Yard due to engineering works on the East Coast Main Line.
