Description
Monday 11th May at Carlisle. Todays highlights include Lumo running their 6 car Meridian from Stirling to London Euston on a rehearsal run. It stopped at its scheduled stations and some odd activity took place. All in preparation for the first Stirling Euston Stirling train on 25 May. We also see the West Highland Pullman heading south with a crew change en route from Inverness to Swansea.
The Settle Carlisle is closed Kirkby Stephen to Garsdale as work finishing the repairs south of Birkett Tunnel are completed. Thus the cement empties, the logs and the Engineer's train to Crewe all went via Lancaster.

Theres a Snow blower heading off for Preston plus a convoy - or was it a class 6 train - from DB Cargo with 3 class 66s and a wagon!
