LNER A2 60532 'Blue Peter', 90002 ‘Wolf of Badenoch’ and 121022 'Flora' on the LSL Chairman's Train!
The locomotive was earmarked to take over from Crewe for the Locomotive Services Chairman’s train carrying dignitaries from London Euston to Kilmarnock via the S&C.
90002 ‘Wolf of Badenoch’ powered the London Euston to Crewe leg working in its new LSL lined black livery, before heading onto Carlisle light engine, while we watch as Jeremy Hosking leads passengers to admire the A2 before it sets back and runs up to Crewe Heritage Centre ready to back onto the stock for an unassisted run to Helliefield, where Bubble Car 121022 'Flora' was set to follow and carry passengers on to Carlisle. The new LSL company black liveried Class 37's will work the final leg to Kilmarnock.
