Clun Castle STORMS For Scarborough - Chasing 7029 Around Yorkshire
Clun Castle worked a train to Scarborough from Birmingham, and it was a good one to chase. There are quite a few shots as it is quite easy to chase when it has water stops at Pontefract Baghill going both ways.
As a big Castle fan, I was really hoping to get some good full power shots. Unfortunately on the outbound working the train was given single yellow aspects and as a result the train was going quite slow in my shots sadly. The return working was a bit better, with a good shot at Model Engineers, however due to dry weather the Castle wasn't worked too hard. The final shot back at Pontefract was really good, the loco made a good noise as it disappears out of view with some slip.
Also, it was a very windy day and unfortunately most of the shots are very shaky, but I still wanted to upload this.
Thanks for watching, quite a bit more to come!

The footage includes scenes of the train during both outbound and return journeys, with mentions of operational conditions such as single yellow aspects affecting speed and dry weather influencing performance. The video also notes challenges such as wind causing shaky shots, but highlights some quality moments including a final departure shot with noticeable engine noise and slip.
