A trip to the south coast on this vid. On a Saturday NSE ran a West of England Express service from Brighton to Plymouth (& an Up road balancing working). A class 73 worked the train from Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour where a class 50 would run light from Eastleigh to drop on it there and work through to Plymouth. We see this working at Portsmouth & Southsea along with a few EMU's and a class 155 Sprinter (which later were converted to single car 153's) and finish at Waterloo with a couple of shots of NSE Expresses including a Crompton on one of them.
