Description
A friend from Yorkshire came to visit me with the intention of visiting some of the narrow gauge lines here in Wales. On this upload we see the Padarn Lake Railway which runs along the north shore of Lake Padarn in Llanberis. The trackbed was originally part of the Dinorwig Slate Quarry Railway system although this ran at a different gauge. We see steam loco Dolbadarn at work on the single train service running this day, at Llanberis, Gilfach Ddu and from part way up the quarry workings.
