British Railways 1999-Paddington, Valenta InterCity 125 HST, Network SouthEast Turbo DMU, 47 & 332
A film now from the collection of a now departed friend. Having seen my videos taken since 1985 he was inspired to go out and buy his own video camera and get filming. I have been digitising them and converting the Video8 tapes to MP4. In this upload we are at London Paddington in March 1999, and with plenty of ex British Rail stock still to be seen. Lots of Valenta powered HST's still at work although most are in the new Great Western green & cream colours, while a top & tailed Class 47 Virgin Cross Country ECS MkII set arrives. There are a couple of Turbo Class 165s still in Network SouthEast colours and Class 332 EMU's, the original Heathrow Express EMU's.
