Description
THE JON HARRY COLLECTION
A film now from the collection of a now departed friend. Having seen my videos taken since 1985 he was inspired to go out and buy his own video camera and get filming. I have been digitising them and converting the Video8 tapes to MP4. This upload shows some railway action in West London. We start at Castle Bar Park on the Greenford Branch with a pair of 08's passing through along with the ex Network SouthEast Class 165 Turbo DMU on the branch shuttle, and a class 66 on the Calvert Binliner from Brentford. We then head off to West Ealing on the main Great Western line and see a Mainline Freight liveried class 58 running back to Acton Yard light engine, having worked the daytime Northolt Junction to Calvert binliner. A couple of now withdrawn Heathrow Express calss 332 EMU's pass by and a few Turbo DMU's. We finish at Dudding Hill Junction Signal Box on the freight only line from Acton Wells Junction to Cricklewood. Here we see a class 66 running light engine to Acton Yard, having worked that mornings Forders Binliner, then two class 60s, one on the return Langley aviation fuel, the other 6M54, the return Thorney Mill empties heading back to Bardon Hill.
