A BR vid now from Exeter but night shots this time. A cold winters night in January 1992 saw me at Exeter for a few days to see the last few class 50s in traffic. Arriving late evening i took the opportunity to nip over to St Davids station to see the night workings. And in these days it was busy, there were two TPO (Travelling Post Office's, mail sorted on the move) workings as well as normal parcel van workings. Plus we see the Plymouth to Edinburgh/Glasgow Sleepers (stopped at privitisation as it didn't fit easily with any TOC to be) and just before i left a 37 takes a damaged 33 009 (cab end was damaged at Meldon Quarry) away towards Bristol, plus NSE Expresse's heading away to Plymouth. Traction seen is 33, 37, 47, DMU & HST on Inter-City, TPO, Sleepers, Parcels, NSE Express, light engine and freight workings.
