It's August 2022 and i'm at South Kenton late one afternoon, at the start of the evening peak. Surprisingly there were quite a few freight trains heading down road plus as a bonus, a Network Rail Inter-City 125 HST test train working up road. The regular workings of Intercity services was provided by class 221 & 390's while local services were worked by EMU classes 350, 377 & 710 plus a pair of British Rail class 319s. Operators seen are Avanti West Coast, DB Cargo, Freightliner, London North Western Railway, London Overground & Southern.
