It's early December 2022 and i am Chester in the early morning light. The start of a day out chasing the veteran British Rail PEP EMU's on Merseyrail, we see the rail action at Chester and Hooton. At Chester i caught the Water Cannon train with a pair of Colas class 56 Grids, two new class 197 DMUs on test plus regular workings with class 175, 195 & 508 DMU & EMUs.
