It's May 2023 and i'm at one of the furthest points on the British Railway network, Penzance. It's evening time and we see Great Western Railway short set British Rail Inter-City 125 HST's, the Night Riviera Sleepers being shunted into the station by a class 57, a class 802 IEP and then the highlight, a Cross Country Inter-City 125 arriving. This was on its booked run to Leeds but was turned back at Bristol due to flooding in the Gloucester area, and was put on the diagram that worked the last Up train from Penzance.
